On behalf of City of Waterloo Council, I am pleased to extend a warm greeting to all those participating in the 2024 Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) National Championships, taking place at RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex and Conestoga College from April 5 to 28.
These U16 – U18 Girls and Boys tournaments provide a valuable opportunity for elite volleyball teams from across Ontario to showcase their athletic skills and compete for the coveted Provincial Cups in their respective categories.
I want to acknowledge the OVA, coaches, officials, athletes and their families, along with the many staff and volunteers for committing efforts, expertise, talents, services and resources to the successful organization of these provincial competitions.
The success of any event lies not just in the competition on the courts but in the memories created off of them. Whether you are a first-time guest or a returning visitor, we encourage you to explore all our city has to offer. Your presence adds to the vibrancy of our community and we are grateful for the opportunity to host you.
