Every year before the athletes meeting on the first day of Weekend 2 of the Beach Ontario Championships, we present the Jason Senechal Memorial Award.
Given to the athlete that bets demonstrates sportsmanship, the award is named after the late Jason Senechal who was a talented, compassionate, empathetic and determined athlete who competed on the OVA Beach Tour in the 2000s.
