As the founder of Pakmen Volleyball Club, Smith helped build a pathway that introduced thousands of athletes to the sport while supporting their development from recreational participation to high-performance competition.
Under his leadership, Pakmen grew into a nationally recognized organization, earning multiple provincial and national championships while becoming Canada's first Volleyball Canada Accredited Club and later a National Excellence Program.
