Volleyball in Ontario is growing, and with that growth comes new opportunities.
Beginning with the 2026–27 indoor season, the Ontario Volleyball Association will introduce Division 1 and Division 2 competition streams for the 6v6, TLS–16U girls age divisions.
Over the past several years, participation in youth volleyball has increased significantly across the province. While this growth is exciting, it also means that we're on the trajectory of tournaments exceeding capacity, possibly leaving teams unable to enter events.
To support this continued growth, the OVA is introducing two competition streams for the 6v6-16U girls that will help create more space for teams to participate.
Important things to know:
• Rules and gameplay are not changing
• The restructure simply introduces two streams of competition
• The goal is to ensure more teams have opportunities to compete and develop
