For nearly five decades, Tim Louks has been a cornerstone of volleyball in Ontario—building not just winning teams, but a lasting culture of excellence, resilience, and integrity. As head coach of McMaster University’s women’s volleyball program for 37 seasons, Tim guided the team to four OUA titles, developed dozens of all-stars and All-Canadians, and helped shape McMaster into a national force. A six-time OUA Coach of the Year and 2025 recipient of the John McManus Award, Tim’s influence has extended far beyond the court through his mentorship, leadership, and commitment to athlete development.
Tim has left an indelible mark on the game—bringing national championships back to Ontario, mentoring future coaches, and inspiring generations of student-athletes. We recognize that lifetime of dedication by welcoming him into the OVA Hall of Fame – Coaching Category, Class of 2025. Congratulations, Tim!
