Vince Enright didn’t set out to become one of Ontario’s most respected volleyball officials—he just kept saying yes. What began in 1970 with a rulebook and a shortage of referees turned into a five-decade career that shaped the landscape of officiating across the province. With over 55 years in stripes, Vince earned his National Badge, officiated national and international matches, and mentored more than 3,000 referees. His leadership helped unify London’s officiating community and raise the standard of professionalism across Ontario.

Beyond the court, Vince served as Region 3 President and sat on the OVA Board of Directors, playing a pivotal role in building the sport’s infrastructure. He’s received the OVA Achievement Award, the Diane Wood Special Achievement Award, and the Officials Award of Merit. We honour a man whose quiet influence and tireless mentorship have left a lasting legacy—congratulations to Vince Enright, OVA Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
